This map depicts the location of historical landslides within Saint Lucia as part of a rapid risk analysis. At risk infrastructure is highlighted. This map was made in QGIS for an Open Source GIS & Project Management course.

The Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan border is mapped highlighting the Sardoba Dam break, flood path, and inundated areas. The map visualized the size and extent of the flood on the Uzbekistan side of the border. The map was made for an Intermediate GIS and Cartography course.
A habitat connectivity analysis was conducted using ArcGIS Pro to determine the most suitable areas for the Eastern Bobcat in Vermont.
Lake Mead, located in Nevada, is the largest reservoir in the United States that supplies water to millions of residents. However, prolonged droughts and increasing temperatures have contributed to the receding water levels, some of the lowest in history since its formation in 1930. Two maps are produced from satellite imagery to map the progression of decreasing water levels between 2013 and 2021.
This map was made using simple geoprocessing tools within QGIS for an Open Source GIS & Project Management course. The map depicts the Sage-grouse habitat across the western United States. Data was selected from The National Atlas and USFWS.
